Shree Bhaikaka Government Arts and Commerce College, Sojitra is situated in the fertile region of Charotar in Anand district. The college was established in the year 2016 by the Government of Gujarat. The college was started in M. M. High School campus of Sojitra. The independent college building construction has been in progress. The government's main objective for establishing this college is to benefit rural students of Anand district to avail qualitative higher education at the nominal financial rate in their home place only.

Sojitra and Tarapur Talukas of Anand district have more than 65 villages under their administration. Sojitra is the native place of Shri Bhaikaka, the Founder of Vallabh Vidhya Nagar. To recognize his contribution to education, the college has prefixed his name. The place has around 33 temples.
